And Jesus Whispered...

And Jesus Whispered...

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

And Jesus whispered...

Are you ready my child - are you ready for my return?

For the day is coming soon when all will quickly change

When your journey on Earth will suddenly sojourn

The stars- the moon will turn to shades of black and red

The angels will sound their trumpets for all to heed the call

Are you ready my child- to rise up from your sleeping bed?

All the Heavens and Earth will rumble...

With shaking skies and blowing winds

Nature yearning in cries of anguish

While His mighty angels plead you to repent of sin

Are you lost in life's drama, tired of lies and pain?

Is your heart right with God - do your ears hear Him knocking?

Please don't turn your head - pretending you don't hear

As satan plays his games, doing his evil coercive mocking

Awake...Awake from your slumber...

Hear His call- the time is running late

For this world is filled with discord, wars and strife

Don't let the evil devil determine your final fate

It's time to make your choice - hear His voice

There is nothing in this world that's worth losing your life

Neither powers nor principalities

Nothing's worth concealing us from our Savior's sight

No presidents, kings nor queens on Earthly thrones

Should pervade our right to sit beside Jesus our Father

And to wear His robes of white and His Heavenly golden crown

For God sent His only Son for all our sins to atone

Listen - please listen to his call

Are you praying?
