Precious Child ~Children Should Grow Up In Heaven

Precious Child ~Children Should Grow Up In Heaven

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

Le Crab

With a tiny brush she paints her picture

This little girl with eyes of blue

Shining like lilies on a periwinkle pond...

As her world turns softly

So innocent and precious

This cherished child

Painting the gardens of her little world

Looking up to the stars and moon

Remembering her fairy dreams

As she colors the pages in different hues

She'll lay her little head upon her pillow

Waiting for the sandman to visit her sleepy bed

Sprinkling fairy dust on her head

In her reverie so sweet...

As fireflies flit in and out

Spreading their sweet purple beams...

In her little girl dreams

Children are special to God. We must protect them all as they are so important. We must strive for--protection and perfection with the perpetual presence of God in their precious lives, as the world today is cruel and so imperfect.

i feel like children are the ultimate definition of innocence, the way you presented the little girl was imaculate since painting is such a peaceful past time. when you said 'eyes of blue shining like lilies on perry-wrinkle pond' i could only decipher peace.
i absolutely loved it!
