In My Solitude

In My Solitude

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne
"

It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone... a part of me went with you

"

In my lonely solitude

Longing for one more night with you

Send your loving hand to me

For without you I’ll never ever be

The woman that sleeps inside of me

The thought of you next to me

Brings painful sweet memories

I lay all alone in the dark

Lonely with nothing but a spark

Your touch left such a painful mark

When you were mine to love and hold

How could I have ever known

That losing you would hurt so much

Or how I’d miss your loving touch?

How could I let you walk away?

Just too proud to ask you to stay

Will you ever return to love me?

Will you ever learn to need me?

When the night turns back to day

Will I find the words to say

How much I miss your tenderness

Nothing will fill that togetherness

Of me and you and you and me

           Together...

And how we used to be

I'm not an extraordinary woman, simply put... I'm just a normal, ordinary one. In my private life I am gingerly cautious with the people I meet, but fearless in the words I write. Not an extrove.. more..
