Hello Jesus

If we would climb that stairway

right on up into Jesus’ arms

He’d be right there to greet us

to help us through our days 

 

He’s always there to hold us

in the palms of His loving hands

We can share with Him our sorrows

for in His love we trust

 

He hears us…

when we have no words to speak

When we feel shameful of our deeds

we can come to Him in humble plea

He'll always give us pardon

if only Him we seek 

 

We neglect Him on some days

as we go about our busy lives

then when trouble slips into our lives

we bow our heads and pray

                

"Hello Jesus,  it’s just me again

I know it’s been a long time…

since you heard me say Your name

but will you hear my prayers

and Jesus...

will You please forgive me for all my sins?"

He answered me, as He always does

"Oh my child, I hear you knocking

I forgive you once again

My door is always open

please, open it and come on it"
