Come rest your weary head

upon my hearten breast

Tenderly I'll caress the pains of

your worrisome day 

away

to soothe away your fear

A  song of joy everlasting  

I'll whisper in your ear

As you fall into sweet slumber

gently I'll cradle you in my arms

Warm and sound I'll keep you through

the plight of restless night's harm

And in the morn when you awake

You'll find your dream is true

This day and all the morrows to come

Life will be brand new.
