Ack, I feel attacked, lol. An apt little piece of wisdom that I needed in my life... I like the title of the poem in relation to the message. "Emerge" - is it the idea of transcending from a narrow mindset of running away from loving someone, to one that is more calm/accepting of the feelings?

It’s that feeling felt in your bones as a result of the heart’s hesitation. It jumps right up at you and you have to deal with it. So yes, I agree it does leap out at you lol Thank you for the honest review :)

What we fight is the vulnerability we must embrace to accept and give love. And, that's tough when we've been burned. Still, as you've said in few words, we cannot control "love." It happens as it wishes.

too often we don't just allow it to happen...especially if we have been hurt before...we fight the feeling and hurt the one who is trying to salvage our heart from the junkyard of love.
