Fever Dreams

Fever Dreams

A Poem by Vertigo

 Fever dreams that cry

For a hand to hold
Every day I call for the sky to fall
And every day I rise with the sunlit
Windows
Reflecting the morning
That holds every mark
On my clouded memories
When I would just lay in the grass
When I was the only
And the last
Perhaps we hold to our pasts
Like fever dreams
And the language between our fingers
Glide.
