The Malestrom

The Malestrom

A Poem by Linear
"

Seek and ye may find

"
Rising up out of the storm
Hailstone winds lash
Twist, cut rivers of blood across skin turned red

Dust and grit strake bloodshot eyes
Yet you see a way out
Casting aside your demons

You lash out in panic
Blinded by the light of knowledge
The only truth you ever knew

Was taken so roughly away from you
Steel bands tie you down as winds rip flesh
Still the silence in your brain, stays exactly the same

As a man born to shrivel and die
You do not cry
But the malestrom sings its song
Relentlessly

Create a powerful tale. Somethings cannot be stop. Even death and turmoil does not alter a malestrom. I like the artwork and the words. Create a good vision. Thank you for a excellent poem.

This is very descriptive and uses all the sense to convey the pain the narrator is going through. The use of being tied down in a raging storm allows the reader to not only feel the pain but visualize it as well
