Can't let her go yet

There's a melancholic taste
in the drink I just bought.
Forgetting her is harder
than what I thought.

Her expressions,
her smile,
her kisses,
even her style.

I can't get her
out of my mind.

I want to hold her,
reunite our worlds again.
I want to tell her
how much I care.

I don't know if she
would listen,
but I have to try
before I have no chance.

The dramatic waste
of a poet's craze,
swallowed away
in a melancholic taste.
