I live down south, make noises with my mouth

people stand around and listen to the sound

I'm odd (repeat x 10)

I don't get out, the walls are my friends

they shout out my name the fun never ends

I'm odd (repeat x 10)

It rains in the attic my knees are bees

they built me an ego with an altar made of cheese

I'm odd (repeat x 10)

I've got no friends just a spotty pink ferret

who sings Brittney Spears in exchange for hash pelletts

I'm odd (repeat x 10)

I've an oinion for an eye but it never ever cries

I hunt for ships in a green gorilla sky

I'm odd (repeat x 10)

I'm scared of my TV, I think it wants to eat me

and when I fall asleep I dream that I'm awake

I'm odd (repeat x 10)

I've a monk for a tooth, its hard to be quiet

I stole my youth from a cop in a riot

I'm odd (repeat x 10)

I read as I walk, I mumble when I talk

I steal sideways glances from a looking glass store

I'm odd (repeat x 10)

I make noises with my mouth, I live down south

and people stand around and listen to the sound

I'm odd (repeat x 10)

It rains in the attic, my knees are bees

they built me ego with an altar made of cheese

I'm odd (repeat x 14)

This is a most unique and unusual piece, an original, which could be part of a film, it kind of reminds me of a wonderful scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I think that your execution of this original piece is excellent, powerful and humorous while inviting great sympathy for this pathetic being, all in all, this have great style and imagination, I thoroughly enjoyed :) Very well done!

I love the wordplay and imagination. It actually reminds me a bit of Hendrix's lyrics. Great work.

O.D.D. Outlying Daily Doses. Fun to read and think about and attempt to reel in the process of coming clean in the ODD department. Very cool, almost like twisting a paperclip until it breaks. (in a good way)

Love this particular line: and when I fall asleep I dream that I'm awake... :D

It's nice to hear your voice, Edward. So masculine yet endearing at the same time. ;)
I like the strange whimsical rhymes. The audio gives a much different feel than the read. The "o" sounds really accentuated. The repeats gives it a mantra like feel. Minor typo with "oinion"

You are odd and so is the slide flute poem, but that's what makes it unique. At this time I cannot access the audio.

Thanx for checking it out! Hopefully you can check out the audio sometime: it's the best bit!
Very interesting reading, really. Sort of an acapella version of what might best be described as a partial libretto for an off-topical rock opera; reminiscent of The Who in some ways. A closer examination of the stanzas reveals a sub-cycled message may be directed toward tin-foil hat conspiracy theorists that are also afflicted with Anthrophobia with a side dose of other phobias that might exhaust my limited store of latin prefixes. Sadly, it is only a single data point. You must inundate us further so a more complete assessment may be made. Then we will be able to say with some certainty that there is more gold behind this glimmer in the rock.
