Divine Symbol

Divine Symbol

A Poem by Legacy

He is the hope of our future generations, our hope for humanity.  Jesus is our divine symbol, our savior to God, without the thorns He wore so gracefully upon His head; He is but just a man.

There comes a time when we must see the truth.  Our Life is ‘what it is’ “but one Life”.  Be grateful; accept this for what it is.

When the family is lacking in money & material things… just remember, we more-than-make-up-for-it’ in love and unity.  No earthly fortunes can compare to what we have - love of Life, and our beautiful family ‘natural and extended’ on Earth and in Heaven.

Trials and tribulations ‘at times’ may seem to take you from this world as you know it.  Turn to Him who is all holy, He will right your every wrong.  Your ‘one and only’ true refuge is with-in Jesus' heart.

He grants us ‘No Warranty of Life’

It is one, we cannot return.

We struggle, in our everyday Life, with temptations that cause us to lose our sight.  We all have our weaknesses ~ devour us unto Satan they can...  in this time of redemption -  it is imperative, muster the strength, pick up ‘our broken pieces of Life’, put our hands together, and look to the sky.  It does not take but a few moments at night, on your knees in prayer, asking for help and guidance in this gift we have been blessed with ‘called Life’.  It appears ‘seldom’ do we get what we ask for…  However, we always receive ‘exactly’ what we need.

Fear not... what Life has in store for you.

See through the eyes of the Lord - through his ‘set-of-lenses’…

Know it to be true; with God by your side, you will overcome all that confronts you…

Many people, foreign and domestic, hold us openly in contempt which we endure so painfully, each time offering it up to the Father - He will pass judgment.

We lean on Jesus for our healing

No matter the ‘severity' diminutive or vast.

Are not most of our Churches (known by name alone)…?  Missing out, on how God intended, misplacing ‘living life between the lines of Scripture’.  Beyond this side of Heaven, the dynamics are hard enough to comprehend, imagine our little ones, who will follow in our footsteps and let us not forget the new believers ‘who are all’ learning through us, ‘our Living God’ - how He touches each of us.

As you hold your newfound treasures - warmth of unity - joy for Life... you will feel ‘the faith of Jesus’ spread throughout your entire body, only then - will you begin your walk with God.

Many pray for you Ones’ we seldom know.

God Bless

{Amen}

I only pray for the grace to well-live today. No matter how ominous the future we are entering may be, it still only arrives one day at a time.
Not sure what you mean by "divine symbol." Why just "symbol?"
With or without thorns, I believe Jesus is the Son of God and not "but just a man."
Many nice-sounding words and notions in your poem.

Wow. You've accomplished what I think is the ultimate goal in writing~to touch the reader. You have touched my soul with this poem. You spoke much truth, and I commend you for looking to God, and not being "ashamed" of your faith.
Take care and be safe.

i really like this cause this truly reminds me of the trials and tribulations god was handing me.I was so depressed to were I did not want to live but sence I found god and I knew he had a real plan for me.I changed my hole life for him, cause i seen he wanted me to live and not die to learn for my mistakes. Then he was able after all I went through to here my prayers and give me a long man and a new baby boy....so wow you really know how to exspress what everyone who believes trys to say, this is great for the people who believe but are afarid to show god they really want him to save them.......with out the trials and everything we would never learn from our mistakes we make in life to make life better.....i thank you for this cause it really lifted my spirits up...

To many times people put thier faith and trust in the man that stands in front of them each and ever Sunday......they follow his take on the word that has been placed here for man to guide them through thier path in life.......not many stop from the every day grind and look to see the miracles that are at hand.....and others think by placing a symbol of the tool of Jesus' death around thier neck that they are safe each and every day......so called Sunday christians.....only folllowing thier religon on Sunday and doing what they want each and every day of thier lives........what if he only worked that way?.......what if he turned off all the miracles of life until Sunday......society makes it so hard for christians of today to actually walk thier lives the way they should......blaming that the devil has made it so hard on them but, in truth it us as humans that make it hard on them.......what is life with out faith of some kind....even if you are not christian.....if you believe in anything it gives you hope to carry on throughout the day.......would we like to believe that this is all we have....this dust bowl we call earth.....if that is the case who cares......nice message in this piece....

I ask Jesus every night before going to sleep to give me the strength I lack, and thank him for the blessings that have been bestowed upon me; my son, my Uncle, a roof over my head, food to eat, etc. I really always try to stop when I am in the middle of all my chaotic life, and count my blessings! I love this quote: Stop telling God how big your storm is. Instead tell your storm how big your GOD is. Take care~~~
