Down the road of Depression

Down the road of Depression

A Poem by Legolas
"

Personal experiance helped me write this.

"

Down the road of depression,

from which there is no return,

good people are lost.

Sons, daughters, husbands, wives;

all become strangers to their loved ones.

Although most feel that they have no one,

there is at least one person who understands.

In the depths of depression,

do not lose hope, for hope is all you have.

Trust you will get through it and  . . .

you will.

Depression is never easy to deal with, not for the depressed nor for their family and friends.
It is a vicious circle in a way. The less one feels that the others care about them, the more are those people driven away, leaving less people who love for real.
I really like the way you ended it on a positve note. Well written!

"do not lose hope, for hope is all you have." love that.

Ahhh, it is the journey towards hope that will one day lead you off of that solitary road.

I feel it, good job.

Thank you! That means alot! I was sitting on the floor at lunch, alone, in a deserted hallway and started writing this.
