Morning routine

Morning routine

A Poem by Ina Waltz

I brushed my teeth with blood and paint

spat on you like you were a canvas

you forced your fingers in my rainbow mouth

pulled out my tongue to hold me hostage

but I splattered a story with a single cough

convincing you I can not love
