My mental illness

I have Aspergers (a form of Autism)

Unlike others I dont let my "problem" define me

I just think forward and forget about those running behind me

My brain is just hot wired to think like a freak

but i dont think of it like that, to me i am just unique 

There is a difference between having a "problem" and being a "problem"

I dont disrupt or call out or panic

But when i get too stressed or angry

the outcome can be quite volcanic

I had a mild meltdown once

On a school bus, it was really unexpected

collapsing on my knees, heavy breathing

but now looking back on that, i was hugely affected

I try to calm before I break

and think before I act

count to three and try to breathe

before my temper cracked

I still over think though

and maybe stress alot

but i now know how to control myself

before i lose the plot

Well, I see we do travel some of the same dark passages of life, but you appear like me to just work it, rather than it working you. Very good chose. We are lucky to be able to stand on the outside and look at our issues. Some are in a place so dark and deep, they cannot see the light. Well done work.
