Time

Time

A Poem by Leonard Birch
"

I love time, but often there isn't enough hours in the day.

"

Time

Time

How the hours pass quickly.

Time

My every breath is measured.

Time

I tolerate her strike.

Time

It’s night.

Sounds and feels like some sort of haiku, short but with great depth.

Thanks Ted. I really appreciate it.

I like the brevity here - definitely adds to the notion of time being so short. Great piece!

Thanks Rita. Yes 24 hours a day isn't long enough. I need 48.
All the best

Liked it because i hated it. LOL this is not a contrasting view. I liked the way how the time is made fun of.
