I may not be able to Multi-task, but you are my one and all.

 

Love you heaps

 

Please have patience my darling one,
I’m only but a man.
I cannot multi-task my dear,
and I don’t like frying pans.

It’s okay, if you would care to cook,
as my meals are often torched.
Just like the eggs on toast, this morn,
The bread was somewhat scorched.

You often ask, if your dress looks great,
I haven’t got a clue.
I say, “yes great”, but I can’t relate,
You do what you got to do.

Sometimes your words are haunting,
like, marriage and a honeymoon.
I need a bottle of Whiskey,
when I hear that same old tune.

But honey dear, I love you heaps,
and your wish is my command.
Just don’t expect me to be quick,
and please, please don’t, demand.

I liked this a lot, Leonard. It is good advice for women to heed....a man does not like to be rushed. When asked if her outfit is pretty, she puts the man in a bad position. There will always be a double standard and men and women will never be the same....however, I believe that is a good thing! This is very cute. Lydi**

Truthful.
In our modern society, people want to claim that men and women are the same. Not true!
I like this poem, because it tells the truth about marriage and love. He might not cook and look after the kids, and she might not go off to work everyday, but that doesn't mean it is unfair.
You know what I'm saying, right?
I might change the font of this poem; it's a bit overwhelming. Besides that, though, it's great!
