Losing Sight

Losing Sight

A Story by Leo Allen

People become too enraptured with others' pasts that they often lose sight of their own. It appears as though we are more in control of our own minds than we thought. We can turn our minds away from what we want and become fixated on what we think is better. This reflects perhaps one of life’s most troublesome of evils. Ourselves.

If I had a word for every time I had a sad thought, I would have an infinite running strand of text. This is due to the fact that we never truly solve our problems - we choose to bury them alive. I have tried to face these recurring demons, but I am like you. I am a coward to myself.
