Snow-blind Love

Snow-blind Love

A Poem by Leonard M.

I was lost from the moment I met you.
I was weak when I heard your voice.
I was destroyed when you left.

An angel returned to heaven,
But a demon was left on earth.

You left me for another.
You left me to torture another.

I knew the cost.
I knew the risk.
Didn't expect to end up like this.
Alone in a dark alley.
Where the rats are my only company.
