- TIME STANDS -

[If time stood still, would it] be real?]

I wonder what it would reveal

We would live in perpetual light,

But would we see the day?

Everlasting light

Would we know the way?

Do the people in the life of night and no day - know no days?

And do those of no night but day no of no darkness in thier day?

Or would the night be filled with dreams and eternal aspiration?

What if they dream never to awake from their dreams and know not reality?

You and I know of both night and day

We wish in the night, pray in the day

We see the darkness in the night

While we search for light in our days

[What if time stood still]

Would we wonder and search,

Till all mistery of life and living be revealed?

Would we explore our inner most thoughts and deepest feelings?

What if time stood still?

Would it? Stay still?

Would we know it? Or even have a better world to show for it?

Would there be no motion?

No notion of emotions? 

Nor vibrations of oceans? 

[Would it allow us perpertual motion]

Would we be never moving?

Just being there, like air

If time stood, would it be, still?
