Did I do something wrong??

Did I do something wrong??

A Poem by Secret Lullaby

It's been three days.

We haven't spoken in three days.

Did I do something wrong?

Was it something I said?

I'm sorry...

You won't look at me.

You just look down.

Did I hurt your feelings?

Did I make you mad?

I'm sorry...

I see you smile.

And you laugh with other people.

But not with me.

Only silance.

Did I make a mistake?

Did I make you sad?

I'm sorry...

Author's Note

Secret Lullaby
My boyfriend ignored me for three days two weeks ago. On the the third day I broke up with him because someone told me that he wanted to break up with me. When I asked him why he wanted to break up with me he couldn't give me an answer.....so I just keep asking myself what did I do wrong?

Maybe he was giving you the cold shoulder routine to break up with you or maybe he just lost interest in the relationship. Sorry that happened to you. There's plenty of fish in the sea. As long as you wasn't deeply in love it's always ok to move on. On to the Next One. Great poem. I understand where you're coming from. :)

People do that, and sometimes Guys will do this so they don't have to be a man, and come right out and tell the girl, because they don't wanna hurt them. Chances are you did nothing wrong and its him, not you that caused the break up. you have penned your hurt and sorrow well.
