Twisted Words

Twisted Words

A Poem by Lexi Wilkins

Twisted words can
Lead to cold nights
Words can heal
Or cut like a knife

In the end
It's a sacrifice
We walk alone
We all pay the price

Take your time
Don't try to fight
What's in your heart
What you feel is right

Whispers all around
Bones about to break
Is it Heaven or Hell
You get what you take

You got you way around the words, Lexi. That's a compliment. I would love to read more of your work. Write more and I would love to review more..
