Do Not Doodle

Do Not Doodle

A Poem by Alexa Tarvid
"

We go to college to learn more about what we love and how to make more money doing it, but what about those classes we HAVE to take?

"
What does this all mean?!?
Rack the brain
Play the game,
You aren't listening enough,
You won't survive this information age
A raging flame,
Read this
Memorize that,
You won't need it for life
But you'll need it for my test,

Because you paid to be here
Yes you did,
Your mother gave an arm and a leg
To get you this bread,
Your father worked twelve hours every day
To make sure its this bread you are fed,

So stop fidgeting,
Do not doodle
Or write silly poetry,
You must sit in that chair and listen,
Listen to my babbling
That won't get you any closer
To getting back your money.
