Cast no shadow on my soul

Cast no shadow on my soul

A Poem by Pebbles

You cast no shadow

As you linger

At the edge of your world

Created only from my desire

I hold back

And yet i can taste you on my toungue

Scarlet blood

On velvet sheets

Can not be seen

but is there all the same

Linger

Please

Dont

Leave

Me

I throw my self

at the feet Of men

who Never bother

Looking into my soul

Like mirrors of pain

They breed contempt

And foolishly i beckon For their love

It Is Beyond My Understanding Of Self

And

is

it

they

who

betray

me

Or

do

i

betray

myself

To betray they must first love

And as the velvet sheet dries

My blood stays hidden

Close those beautiful eyes child

For tomorrow

We will find a new song

Without the bitterness

So sweet upon your lips

My

Child

i

Am

Sorry

For

My

Soul

Was

Scared

But

Now

I

Will

Open

My

Eyes

To

Your

Pain

Sheer brilliance and the voice is full of a woman's sadness, the feeling of not being understood.

To want to be needed, for someone to see that soul that shines brightly within. But lust never visits the soul and once again you hope that someone one day will look inside.
