Ashes (part 1)

Ashes (part 1)

A Poem by Pebbles

The ashes lie upon the floor
She had cremated the remains
Maybe she should of known better
She tries to think of all the good things
But its hard
She smilies in recollection
Of all the crazy moments
She knows and understands
The feeling that holds her to this spot
Like the death of a friend
Or the memory that you held precious
A child  lets go of their balloon
Only to stand there watching
Knowing it's lost in time and space
The loss makes the memories more precious
And so she is thankful
For all she gained
As she sweeps up the ashes
Feeling like cinders sitting alone in the dust of the fire
She  wishs the ashes would come back to life
She will never forget this moment or many moments before
But it's ok she crossed the line and needs to learn
That not everyone is ready for the secret
Not everyone knows
As I am you , you are me
As I do unto you , you will do unto me
and as you do unto my soul I will learn to be free
