The Revolutionary Song

The Revolutionary Song

A Poem by Lighthouse Call
"

Just a few lyrics I scribbled down with no complete what-so-ever sense of structure.

"
The little kid on the sidewalk
Never got what he deserved
His family pushed him around
Whilst the anger he conserved

When praying didn't work and
Everyone turned their backs down
He grew up on his own
In an abandoned little town

He wrote down his own music
One of the few that helped him through
And yet the judging people criticized him on that too

So he put it all together and he gave it all he had
He poured out his heart through the words he never said
He strummed a little rhythm on his broken old guitar
A sound that on the judge's hearts he engraved like a scar

And through the song the people saw the damaged boy's life too
They realized pointing fingers was a sin they always brew
A song that changed every one's life if only I could write it too
So today try to be better even if on your tongue you've gotta chew

Such enjoyable lines I really like the 2nd one. Depth in there.
This is quite the powerful write here,
Such a wonderful flow, love the rhyme scheme as well.
