A Whole Different World

This is something I worte about 3 or 4 years ago and I still have it, which is sort of amazing (I tend to misplace a lot of things), but it's still one of my favorites.

I sit here

Shaking in fear

What else is there to do?

I can't hear.

I can't see.

This world I am in

Does not exist.

When I scream,

He only tisks.

No one hears my cry,

My plea.

I am reaching the brink

Of insanity.

You do not exist

In this world he has brought me to.

None of you do.

Learn that.

Understand that.

Remember that.

For it will come to you in the future.

You'll think of me,

Of my voice,

Of my scream,

Of how you could not stop him,

Of how you could not save me.

No matter how hard you tried.
