Chance

Chance

A Poem by Ceri Sian Lock

Dancing hearts and stars
Flow,
Dissolve,
Resurface,
Slow motion show.
Reach
Before it sinks,
Fades.
It's not over, you know?
Chase glimmers,
Flashes,
Depths and heights
Explore.
If the flame burns out,
Trust.
It wasn't yours.
Chances revolving,
Evolving
From turns you made.
A colour cascade,
Alternate shades
Spiraling,
Floating
Through days,
Hours,
Decades.
Never too late
to rotate,
recalculate,
Create
A new break in the recital.
Unpredictable new chapters
Boundless,
No title.
