SomedayA Poem by LimitalityWell, I'm not really sure why I wrote of a cat. It's just... What are they thinking when they stare out the window? There once was a cat, a typical cat, not skinny not fat, it sat by the window, and glared out, sometimes, it was like she wore a pout. Alone, she was, alone in her own world, thinking. She would think, and her head would swirl. Was there anywhere else, then this wretched window ledge? Would I have to fight? Push myself through a wedge? You could tell she was broken, her poor little heart, it was always broken, from the very start. She's living in a world, of window ledges, and perfect grass hedges. A box of a world, with no one by her side, sometimes, she has even cried. Always staring out the window, she wished she could leave, She would someday, she had to believe. She had to leave, this place of sorrow, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. But she will... Someday. © 2009 LimitalityAuthor's Note
