I Read You Like a Book

relationships can be like reading a book from cover to the ending

I have only known you for a few short months

However, i have come to read you like a book

Your cover is bold and brash

With solidity in your fonts

However, when i turn your pages

Softness revels in my eyelids

You can't hide behind your tough book exterior

Cause i have seen the tenderness of your lines

There are days when your paragraphs stray

They are consumed with these soft little phrases

Like; "I will love you until the end of time, 

you are forever mine" 

Some days; I find in your book 

A seriousness in your words and lines; 

Which only tells me you are preoccupied

I have learned through reading your pages

When i give you space between your paragraphs

You come back to me with a wonderful ending

The best part of all is the last chapter

Cause it always ends with the sweetest kiss ever
