Future Pages are Worth Living

Future Pages are Worth Living

A Poem by LisetteCanWrite!
"

Don't look back too much... just look forward.. we do need to learn from past mistakes but don't second guess decisions too much!!!

"

Have you ever wondered;

what might of been???

If you could go back

or step inside a time machine..

I try not to do this

and live for just today.

On a bad day I might;

even though I dare not say.

Turn a different corner

or perhaps rip out a page?

Rewrite your life book over and

correct your worst mistake?

If we could do this..

I don't believe it would be good.

We'd spend our lives turning corners

and ripping pages out of books.

Just start a whole new chapter;

learn a lesson from what you've got.

See, we gain alot of knowledge

so don't give it too much thought.

Just try to do the best

with what you have been given.

Love life and laugh;

"Future pages are worth Living"

Once in a very blue moon we all think what would have happened had I of...

I try not to do this too often; but then thought I would write something about

this as I truly do not believe it would be good if we could go back and change

things as then we would never learn cause we'd never make mistakes!!! :)

Please disregard grammar, just a passing thought.. written tonight. The picture I used was a dictionary from 1898 that was passed down to me..it's about 6 inches thick.. has loose pages so it fit what I needed

I like when writers compare life to tools of the trade and this is great. I like
the wisdom of it, your showing us that you've torn pages out, crumbled them,
and used ink that has bled through, enough to know that the bad pages are
actually filled with life saving knowledge. Very nice poem, great read!

Ah, this has plenty of truth behind it, too! U have made some good points here. We should try and live for today, and try to make the best of it while we still can. You're right. If we dwell on the past too much, then we will never get far ahead. Great poem :)

wow such soft passion, the emotion is perfectly imbuing with sincerity and insight that in ways allows the
reader to feel what the author is feeling, at the same time, the meaning leaves the reader with an embracing feeling
of added knowledge, awsome job
