    I say were done

You flinch with pain.

I walk away with tears in my eyes

You stand shocked.

I turn to look at you tears overflowing onto my face,

You walk up to me tears brimming your eyes

I run into your arms

You grab my face and kiss me

I promise to never scare you again

You promise to keep me happy.

I cry but for new reasons

You whisper in my ear three simple words,

“I love you”
