Freeing the Pain

You caused me pain,

My tears to rain.

All of my midnight dreams

Turned to two a.m. screams.

With all your lies

You remind me of the other guys.

How they said they would be different

I’ve learned to stay indifferent.

You all say the same things

So I’ve cut all my strings.

It’s time to move on

Consider me gone.

My life is going to keep going

My eyes will be glowing

Knowing that you will not hurt me

Knowing that I’m finally free.
