A Poem by Chloe Christine

I had to blink,

Clear the entire thought.

It didn't make sense!

You said it was my fault.

'I won't even miss you at all'

Those word strike.

They make me small,

Cut deep like a knife.

It wasn't me to blame in the end.

You pin the guilt,

On someone else.

When you can't take the hit.

It's really your fault.

But the words still get me.

They nip and tuck,

Until I'm who you want me too be.

A sad a depressed girl,

Dependent on you.

I figured it out,

You thought I never knew.

This is over,

I can't be here.

I hope this thought,

Brings you fright and fear.

Find someone else to use,

I'm not the one.

Good-Bye, sweetie.

This has been fun.
