Maidenhood

Maidenhood

A Poem by Minerva
"

A take on the path to becoming a women

"

Girl go wash your face it’s just too soon. You don’t really want to play, you have no idea what happens if you stay.

new you
new friends
new pressure
new heartbreak

Girl go wash your face, take off those clothes too, you don’t understand what will happen to you.

sexy
tease
don’t touch me
innocence and purity lost

Your life will change and you won’t even see, this is what happens when you’re with me. The world will change in the blink of any eye there is no going back everyone’s tried.

So girl go wash your face, change those clothes to. Enjoy the time you still have for someday I’ll come for you.
