Currently what I’m going through

Seeing that pink second line made my heart race
It put a huge big smile on my face
I couldn’t wait to see you smile
Who would you look like my dear child?
I have wanted you for a very long time
I would think of you with your dad at bedtime
We would lay in bed for hours talking about you
About the many things we all would do
I was 5 weeks and 6 days when I found out
I wanted to for everyone to know as in my mind I shout
Some more weeks have gone by I’m 8 weeks now
And I’m cramping and slightly bleeding asking myself how?
What did I do wrong? Tomorrow is your ultrasound
I just hope that your heartbeat is strong I wanna hear that healthy sound
Child you are scaring me so much
You know I have loved you since before you were ever a thought
You inspire me a bunch
Happiness to me you brought
However if tomorrow they say you are not there know that I love you here and anywhere
My child my love my everything please stay with me
I promise you I will be the best mother I can be
I promise to not get mad at you when you mess up
I promise to care for you wipe your tears when things for you are rough
I promise to help you through that homework that’s though
I promise to love you always
I promise that your dad will always be by your side every day
I promise to teach you about Gods grace
I promise to teach you life isn’t a race
I promise to show you stars, land and sea
