Snow White

Snow White

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

This is just me making myself write again...I had the urge ^^.

"
I’m like snow white.
I’ve slept a thousand days & nights.
Waiting for my prince to come to me,
Kiss my lips & set me free.

But he hasn’t shown up.
He must be tied up.
So I still sleep on,
From dusk until dawn.

Hunger pains me not,
I feel neither cold nor hot.
I can’t feel anything at all,
I can’t tell spring from fall.

Where’s my happily every after?
When will the tears give way to laughter?
I want my life with you to start.
I want you to be the light in my dark.

Come quickly on a white horse for me,
Kiss my frozen lips & set me free.
We’ll run together, you & I.
Until the Sun falls from the sky.

But until you come all I can do,
Is dream happy dreams in a gilded tomb.
Not a gentle flutter of my eyes,

Will be until the day you arrive.
