![]() Storm WatcherA Poem by Mercury MirrorsI love rainy days. The kind framed by a gray haze. Where big, wet drops fall from the sky. Like thousand of shimmering, crystal eyes. Then they disappear in a miniature explosion, Upon the ground, scattering it. Erosion. While thunder rumbles far above your heads. The flashes of lightning illuminate me on my bed. Crouched up on the covers, pressed against the window. My eyes wide & filled with awe, enjoying my own little show.
