Over The Edge

Over The Edge

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors

This love is like a raging river,
 & we’re being sucked towards a waterfall.
We just can’t fight the current,
There’s no help in sight at all.

We’re swimming away from catastrophe,
But it keeps pulling us back.
When we fall over the edge,
We’ll hit the rocks below, Smack!

Nice rhythm. Had a song feel to it. Reading this made me happy and bouncy although it may not have meant to.

now this is so true, I feel like this at times.

Now that is a great way to look at love... it was funny but with quite a bit of truth too... love can certainly pull you quickly in one direction and even make you feel like you are drowning at times... a very quick witted but honest poem.

Right on sister! I LOVE the last line, LMAO...you're so blunt and graphic sometimes, but it's always so full of emotion. Love it!
