Life

Life

A Poem by Lola_Bee

Entwined and falling fast

I cannot grasp what’s going on & why

I try and keep my cool

But how can I when I see life flying by

I grab on to many pieces of memories

But are they enough to put me back together

Once whole now tattered and torn

My story has come to a halt, I am forlorn

This is life, never constant

Never guaranteed

Flying by

In the blink of an eye

Our skin starts to age

And our hair starts to grey

Our hearts break and rebuild

We watch as it unfolds

and leaves a map of life on our souls
