Off to WonderlandA Poem by Lonesome TravelerInspired by "Alice in Wonderland"
A lonely writer on a fountain edge
Writing love, sadness, and anger Soon notices something near the wedge of tall plants, if not higher Out of curiosity he investigates He searches and looks around Only to find a creature that creates A cute and chilling sound As the creature runs off as it sees the writers face with a blank stare It runs off through his knees And leaves tracks so bear Knowing it leaves no tracks the writer follows Through hills, and forests, and thick marshes And soon finds it standing in a vast meadow then through a cave it submerges The writer dives to follow the creature And the cave soon closes down The writer, in the cave, is so unsure And the creature continues down
