Goodbye, Old Friend

Goodbye, Old Friend

A Poem by Lonesome Traveler
"

NOT A REVIEWABLE POEM FOR IT'S A GOODBYE LETTER FOR A FRIEND

"
I was alone
With no friend to talk to
Friendship, I never condone
When it is shared so true

In my life, she sprung
Not knowing who she was
Through a friend she rung
And befriended me without fuss

Soon, we became close
Though we only talk online
The thing I cherish the most
Is that we talk about anything so fine

But now she is leaving
Going away for how long?
And never the time of seeing
Each other along

Goodbye, Old friend
You were amazing indeed
All your friends love you
With no sight of greed

Take care on your long journeys
And take care of yourself
Do not bruise your knees
Be safe, but not in a shelf
