Lonely

Sometime this week, I felt lonely
I was alone, nobody needed me
It's like, my life, it's so empty
And all I needed was some sympathy

She was there, I was here
Talking to her last night was a dear
We talked about her message so clear
She likes someone who, to her, was near

My soul was crushed that evening
I wanted to tell her what I was feeling
But all I said was, "I feel alone"
This message, I think, was depressing

I never got to tell her my side
She left me with a blink and set me aside
The whole night, I should've cried
But no. Life goes on, turn up the pride
