Carpe diem

Live life while you can,
Because life is like sand slipping through your hands,
Falling to the ground without a sound,
In a mound, memories of your past,
They make you laugh, cry, regret,
But you do not fret,
Your life is set,
Your eyes see wonder,
Your ears hear tunes of grace,
Your mind is open to all,
An open book to ponder over,
Another exquisite life,
With a remarkable story.
