Loose

Loose

A Poem by Lookwithinsight

Is it me?
It must be.
I look the same,
So it seems.
My gaze drips disdain.
My eyes lost their gleam.
I look down.
My feet look…similar.
These are not my shoes.
I’m wearing some poor girl’s
skin and it feels so loose.

Yeah I gotcha. I'm glad you can. It would suck if no one could relate.

The last two lines are stellar. The concept of wearing someone's skin and it's loose fitting is a really cool image. There's a lot of feeling and emotional depth to this poem

Thanks a lot. Yeah it's crazy but I'm sure everyone's felt like this.
