Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel

A Poem by Aaryamaan Rao
"

Inspiration from religion and a song called Trapdoor by Twenty One Pilots.

"

A single stream slithers down the Vale,
A streak of misery carving the Angel's wail.
He tried to show them light,
But none could greet his sight.

He poured his heart in a selfless daze,
But cruel earth, trapped him with haze.
No friend, nor foe, he walked alone,
Through black clouds no sun ever shone.

Agony in his soul, and a muted scream,
To see one genuine smile was his only dream.
He moved mountains for others, ignoring his own,
Despite this, to him kindness was unknown.

For them, every night he bled,
"Forgive them God! It was me!", He
pled.
The one night, the fever never broke,
Before the throne of God, to him, He spoke.

"Son! Such torment you have endured,
Cursing yourself, countless others you cured.
All you wished for was a loving face",
Saying this, God pulled him into a tranquil embrace

I'm just a teen gearing up for college. Been reading books since as far as I remember. Shy and introverted with an explosion of colours inside my eyes. The world within me is rich and deep. Would love.. more..
