Lorries Litany

A Poem by Lorrie
"

A day in the life of words

"
Lorrie Litany

Another day
What time is it?
Please leave me alone
Are you going to stare at me.
The phone
"Damn will ya talk?"
Who is this?
This is why I can't get anything done

Remember the Piano'
Remmember your work
"O Lord come to my assistance."

So what else is new?
Now who's calling?
I feel ucky'
I could say something else
but...

The phone rings
"Are you gonna talk?'
God now who is calling?
"Hello, hello is anyone there?

They never leave me alone.
And why do I have a cell?

What now
Oh Go away.

Hi Mom
Hi Rob
Hi nobody

Is this for real?

Kyrie , Kyrie, Kyrie

The phone has stopped.

If I have to get up one more time.
"Okay if you have something to say:
Talk!"

"Lorrie!"
OOPS it' my boss

Oops I'm sorry

OOPs this is a day
This is my day
I hate the phone

I love to hate the phone

the phone I hate to love.

Goodbye
