Life Light

The life that light brings in life..

Dying trees filled with the darkest of birds and the grey skies blotting out any form of light that might enter.

Fear lingers and takes you by the hand accompanied by worries and anxiety, pulling you in deeper into the dead forest. Every breath is heavy and full of iron, there is no hope.

But then suddenly a ray of light breaks through the grey clouds and even the dark birds fly away as they see light for the first time.

The trees awaken from their dead sleep and for the first time they explode with the greenest of leaves.

The light fills all the places where darkness once ruled and suddenly life is abundant.

The most beautiful birds come to visit this new green awakened trees, darkness shall never return as light life now rule this place.

I felt your lines here really set out the idea of how dark and claustrophobic it had gotten before you then start allowing the light to appear. Really nice.

Nice poem on the cycle of nature. This poem has decent length but you managed to set the reader up to read it in decent order. Nice flow from stanza to stanza.
