A Poem by JustALotusFlower

You and I.

We arent so different.

Yes, maybe our names.

Our ages.

Our physical features.

But forget it all,

And we are the same.

Your mind works, in a way you thought

only you could understand.

But I've travelled down your thoughts.

They come almost instantly.

Memories.

Fears.

Joy.

I realize.

Your not the person you portray to everyone.

You hide yourself, to imitate those around.

It's funny,

Im one of the only ones who truely know who you are.

The things you do,

The people you love.

It all becomes clear.

I feel proud to call you a brother.

You truely have a poetic talent.

Do they know?

Anyone of your other friends?

Some of these things, you shouldn't hide.

The real you, is who they want.

You opened up to me.

And how grateful I've become.

I miss you.

Almost as if, you died.

I know your still alive.

I talk to you often.

But Im just waiting for the day you come back home.

Then things will be alright.

Your one person who made me rethink alot.

Family.

Family Forever.
