Thoughtless violence

Thoughtless violence

A Poem by Louisa Twain
"

My thoughts were stars scattered through out a galaxy. My heart beat hard. Then i heard the gun shot. Violent misunderstanding. Wanting to fade into oblivion. That get away car. And then it was done.

"
My thoughts were stars scattered
Through a galaxy
My heart beat
Hard
I wasn't trusting anybody
My hand crept towards
But yours jerked away
Then I saw him
Blind anger
Quick steps
Shiny metal
He smirked
At me
I tried to scream
My mind was confused
You were thoughtless
Emotionless
Heard the shot
And went
Down
No one came their he lay
I cried stupid tears
As the b*****d got away
Fumbled for my phone
Called 911
So sad so angry
But not suprised
Violence is all he's ever known
And all he ever we'll
Thoughtless
