Your smile
One that shines brighter than the stars
within my night sky;

As soft as a chocolate button
on a warm summer's day;

Your laugh
As sweet as that candy
that represents my love for you;
Melts my heart.

 

Your eyes
Mesmerizing, Gaining
my full attention;
Melts my heart.

 

Your words
Are a silver bullet
That ricochet intensely
through the channels of my mind and soul.

 

Breaks my heart.

I was mainly inspired to write this poem as we're studying poems based around relationships in my English Literature class and I just thought about writing one like that myself :)
